Travellers on the A7 motorway favour these 5 exits

(based on the most viewed pages and confirmed bookings)

  1. Exit 12 Chanas
This exit is the most frequently viewed by travellers. Coming from Lyon, it is the first exit after the toll barrier and marks the arrival in the Ardèche and Drôme departments — a hint of holidays, perhaps an urge to slow down.
  2. Exit 9 Vienne North
Coming from the north, Vienne North is the exit to use if you want to stay in one of the hotels in the historic centre of Vienne. It is very popular with travellers: a chance to glimpse its Roman theatre and narrow streets, and to enjoy the many restaurants. It is also the first major town after Lyon.
  3. Exit 15 Valence South
Valence South is also a popular A7 exit for an overnight stop, no doubt thanks to its wide choice of 1- to 4-star hotels, many with restaurants and swimming pools. Five hotels are less than 800 metres from the exit!
  4. Exit 13 Tain-l’Hermitage
Located between two pleasant villages, the Tain-l’Hermitage exit requires a 2 to 3 km drive to reach the hotels, but it remains very popular. The hotels are well rated, full of character, and the choice is varied.
  5. Exit 14 Valence North
Exit 14 is appreciated for its recently developed area dedicated to welcoming travellers. You’ll find six hotels there, including four budget options, as well as supermarkets and restaurants… efficient, practical and quick!
