A36 Motorway Hotels on rest & service areas

Do not leave the motorway, book the hotel at the motorway service area on the A36.

The Besançon Marchaux service area is located almost halfway along the A36 motorway between Beaune and Mulhouse.

It’s the only service area on the A36 with a hotel: take the service area exit, and you’re there, parked right by the hotel!

For dinner, some will be pleased to find the McDonald’s restaurant right next to the hotel. Others may prefer the Courtepaille.

Is it possible to access the hotel from both directions on the A36 motorway?

Coming from Beaune: no problem, the hotel is on your side of the service area, and you can reach it without crossing the motorway.

Coming from Mulhouse: it’s almost as convenient. You’ll park your vehicle at the foot of the covered footbridge that crosses the A36 motorway and leads directly to the hotel.

Tip: as is often the case, refuelling won’t be possible once you’re parked near the hotel. So, fill up when you arrive at the service area.

Why choose to book the hotel at the A36 motorway service area?

It depends on your situation and preferences.
